Alone in the dark is an action-survival game challenges players to uncover shadowy conspiracies that surround Central Park in New York City. ![]() The story begins in an apartment block overlooking Central Park in New York. Edward Carnby is the captive who you control, and you emerge in central park with just a flashlight and a gun. ![]() The game requires logical thinking and ingenuity to progress. You have to "manually solve" puzzles that arise: work out how to place bombs, or pass through combination keypads. You can pick up chairs, push around furniture, and hotwire cars. The use of fire in the game is clever - see the screenshot above. |
